Part or Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

Location: Christchurch City

Our company, Qestral Corporation (see www.qestral.co.nz), is a well-resourced and industry-leading retirement village developer and operator at the premium end of the market which has recently purchased a medical centre in Merivale Christchurch.
We are seeking a well-qualified and flexible nurse practitioner to join our dedicated Health Hub team to assist with the operation of this medical centre and the servicing of our three popular retirement villages in Christchurch (Alpine, Burlington and Banbury).

We have also developed award-wining telehealth technology (via 50% ownership of a company called Spritely) which we would want you to be involved in and assist with expanding the application across our villages and the elderly community.

This is a flexible position (to suit your requirements) and you would be located at varying times in the medical centre, in our central city Health Hub, or visiting our villages.

We are Looking For:

  • A Nurse Practitioner with NZNC, & ideally 5yrs+ Primary Care Nursing experience.
  • Proficient in prescribing and medication management, adhering to best practice standards.
  • Prior knowledge, skills and experience, caring for a diverse range of patients.
  • Able to work autonomously, conducting physical assessments, diagnosing and treating common conditions, screenings, and prescribing.
  • Strong judgment in managing complex patient care scenarios and a commitment to evidence-based guidelines.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
