Dump Truck Operator

Job Description: We are seeking skilled and experienced Dump Truck Operators for an ongoing position in Tauranga. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating dump trucks to transport materials to and from specified locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dump trucks to transport and deliver materials as required.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and regular maintenance on the vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and truck operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a dump truck operator or similar role.
• Familiarity with construction and material handling procedures.
• Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in heavy equipment operation.
• Experience in operating different types of dump trucks.
