OCS Ltd is currently seeking a Contract Supervisor to join our team in Central Dunedin. As a global leader in commercial cleaning and facilities management, OCS provides essential services to a wide range of clients across New Zealand.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners at one of our prestigious clients' sites, ensuring service delivery meets client expectations and company standards. You'll work closely with your Contract Manager and act as the key point of contact for your team on-site.
This role typically operates from Monday to Friday, start at 3pm to 11pm and pay rate at $29.50 per hour. You will also be on an alternating weekend on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and support a team of cleaners on-site
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and on schedule
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment
- Communicate with clients and report any issues or feedback
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Previous experience in a cleaning or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- Able to work independently and lead by example
- Comfortable using mobile devices or apps for reporting
- Full NZ Driver's License (preferred)
- Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice and Police checks
- Eligible to work in New Zealand full-time
