MÓN is a seven day a week food producer with a high volume Café, Restaurant and a separate Artisan Bakery located in the centre of Havelock North village.
We are looking for the best Head Cafe Chef to help take our business to the next level. Our new premises will be one of the largest cafes/restaurants in Hawke's Bay; cafe by day and asian fusion restaurant by night.

Responsibilities:
Head Cafe Chef – Take full responsibility for the effective operation of our cafe kitchen, ensuring effective delivery of high quality cabinet food and menu food, managing all food standards, health & safety requirements and working with the directors to maximise business efficiency and profit.Food planning, Food costing, Ordering and inventory, Monitoring and maintaining consistent food standards and quality, Staff leadership, Must be knowledgeable and experienced in Cafe Kitchen Operations and new product development (Diploma in Cookery preferred).

Expectations for All Roles:- 5 days a week and required to work Saturday and/or Sunday*
- 40 hr week (Minimum of 36 hours/week)
- Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand (AEWV available for Chef Roles)
