This leading national not-for-profit organisation is seeking a skilled Payroll Advisor to join its Corporate Services team. This role is crucial to ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for a diverse workforce of over 600 employees across New Zealand.
Working within a fast-paced and values-driven environment, you'll support the Payroll Manager and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll systems, processes, and reporting—ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for salaried, waged, and casual staff
- Maintain payroll systems, records, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation
- Support reporting, analytics, audits, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in payroll, preferably within a medium to large or multi-site organisation
- Strong understanding of NZ payroll legislation and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Ideally prior working knowledge of CHRIS21
- Strong systems knowledge and confidence with payroll software and Excel
