HIAB Operator

We are seeking a skilled HIAB Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) to load and unload goods efficiently and safely. Our client is committed to providing excellent service and maintaining high safety standards.
This role requires a professional with experience in operating HIAB equipment and a strong understanding of logistics operations. **This is a temporary position based in Hastings, with an expected duration of 5 to 6 weeks. It's a great short-term opportunity for experienced operators looking to stay active in the industry, contribute to a busy team, and gain valuable experience with a reputable company.

What you will Do
  • Operate HIAB equipment to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the HIAB equipment
  • Collaborate with logistics team to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all operations
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and equipment usage
Your Skills
  • Proven experience in operating HIAB equipment in a logistics setting
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to crane operations
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections on HIAB equipment
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
  • Valid certification for operating lorry-mounted cranes is required
  • A valid FULL CLASS 4/5 License
  • Forklift F Endorsed Licence with OSH Certificate essential
