Employment type: Permanent
Days required Rostered and rotating shift work covering seven days per week, including weekends. The shifts are:- mornings (6.45am-1.15pm or 3pm; 8.00am – 12midday)
- evenings (2.45pm – 11pm or 3pm -9pm)
- night shifts (10.45pm – 7.00am).
Hours per week: 30 hours per week
Hourly rate or salary band: $28.09 - $32.80 per hour based on experience and qualifications
Job description:To assist elderly residents with their activities of daily living – eating, washing, dressing, toileting, mobilizing and engaging in activities. Job Description available on request
Job pre-requisites:- Minimum NZQA level 2 Health and Wellbeing Certificate
- Previous work providing personal care or support services to the elderly
- Effective communication skills
- Proven reliability, able to work well in a team with good time management
- A desire and passion to work with the elderly
- Living in NZ with the right to work - citizenship or an appropriate visa
Sevenoaks Lodge has been part of a charitable trust operating for over 69 years. The Lodge provides aged residential care services to 64 residents receiving either hospital level care, rest home level care or dementia (stage 3) care.
