We are seeking a Kaitiaki to join our Maternal and Child Health Services.

The Kaitiaki is fundamental to the kaupapa of Manaaki Ora, Tipu Ora. The primary objective of the role is to establish a supportive and effective working relationship with hapu mama (pregnant women), parents/caregivers, and their whanau in the caring of their pepi and tamariki until 5 years of age.

  • Passionate about supporting hapu mama, tamariki and whanau
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Patient Management Systems and/or databases.
  • You are able to maintain and respect professional boundaries at all times.
  • All support and care provided by the Kaitiaki is directed by the Registered Nurse
