We are looking for a General Manager who lives and breathes hospitality - an ambitious hospitality leader who is ready to scale an acclaimed brand, and lead Christchurch's most iconic dining destination. This role is for someone who notices every detail, cares deeply about every aspect of the guest experience, and takes genuine pride in running a world-class restaurant.

You will be leading from the floor, setting the standard, driving the culture and creating experiences that guests will remember forever.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 3+ years experience in a senior hospitality leadership role; ideally in premium dining, high-volume restaurants, cocktail bars or luxury venues.
• An uncompromising approach to service and guest experience
• A deep passion for hospitality, restaurants, food & beverage.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire high-performing teams
• Strong operational understanding across service, staffing, reservations, workflow and financial performance.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Calm, decisive leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills with a natural presence on the floor.
• A genuine love of hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Leading daily restaurant operations and service standards
• Delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences
• Building, training & developing a strong front-of-house team
• Driving service culture and maintaining consistent, premium standards
• Managing rostering, labour, purchasing and operational efficiency
• Working closely with kitchen and bar managers to ensure seamless service execution
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and urgency
• Maintaining extremely high standards across presentation, atmosphere, cleanliness, and service flow
• Helping drive revenue, performance, and sales growth
