Our client is seeking a high-performing PMO Manager to drive delivery governance across one of their most strategic and complex transformation programmes — the HRIS/Payroll Replacement Programme.

This multi-year initiative aims to replace legacy HRIS and Payroll systems with a modern, integrated digital platform. The programme is designed to significantly enhance employee experience, streamline business processes, and uplift data and reporting capabilities.

you’ll be at the heart of programme assurance, and governance. playing a critical role in ensuring delivery success and alignment with strategic, financial, and compliance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a fit-for-purpose PMO framework tailored to the programme and public sector environment
  • Drive integrated programme planning, scheduling, resource and dependency management across multiple workstreams
  • Lead risk, issue, change control, and assurance readiness processes (e.g. Gateway Reviews)
  • Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to governance forums and senior stakeholders
  • Support financial tracking, vendor performance, and the coordination of programme meetings
  • Maintain artefact management, document control, and compliance standards

Ideal Candidate:

  • 7+ years’ experience in PMO or Programme Management roles within large, complex environments
  • Proven experience delivering HRIS, Payroll, or large-scale ERP transformation programmes
  • Deep knowledge of project and programme methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile); formal certifications preferred
  • Strong capability in planning, governance, public sector reporting, and assurance processes
  • Excellent communicator, highly organised, and effective in leading cross-functional coordination
