About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated individual to help ensure the safety and security of our patients, staff, visitors, and property. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality operational security services that are customer-focused and support a proactive, professional approach to healthcare security.
Your main focus will be maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone connected to Te Toka Tumai.

About you
You will bring cultural competence and an understanding of cultural differences when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff. You're resilient, able to remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate a caring attitude towards the safety and wellbeing of others, with empathy for those in need of support.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Police Clearance and Clearance under the Vulnerable Children's Act (VCA)Excellent communication skills, with a calm, strong, and respectful physical presence
Basic computer proficiency
A background in customer service or security (preferred)
A strong track record of punctuality and reliability
