Construction Project Supervisor

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Project Supervisor to join our team.

• Assist the Director in planning, organising, and managing construction projects, including objectives, budgets, and timelines
• Supervise and coordinate construction workers and subcontractors on-site
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols and procedures
• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Inspect works to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate and prioritise resources, including labour, materials, plant, and equipment
• Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and safety requirements
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and variations to ensure successful delivery

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Supervisor or Project Manager in the construction industry
• Ability to work with architectural and shop drawings and assist in cost estimation
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, budgeting, and scheduling
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Work based in Franklin, Auckland, with travel to various construction sites

• Full-time permanent position
• Salary range: $74,000 – $76,000 per annum with 40 hours per week
• On-the-job training if necessary
