Vacant Property Managerat Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities - - Waimate
- Our opportunityAs a Vacant Property Manager in our Christchurch Assets and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for overall management of repairs of vacant properties so they can be re-let within specified time frames.
You'll be based in our Christchurch office, however long-distance travel and occasional overnight travel will be required in this role as you'll be supporting the wider region.Operating within a close-knit team built on a high-level of trust, you will be self-managing, reliable and personable.
Your expertise in the building and trades industry will support you to succeed as you work alongside relevant tenancy management, asset management, maintenance delivery, placement teams and Maintenance Partner contractors to ensure that properties requiring vacant repairs will be available for re-letting.Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu- What you will bringIf you have prior experience in the building industry and a strong understanding of trades, then we would love to hear from you.Here's what we'd love for you to bring to the role: Must have demonstrated and proven experience in maintenance management, or property management.
Must be digital savvy to navigate through different software and tools.
Great communication and relationship management skills- able to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across multiple properties and teams.Experience of building maintenance for complexes and houses.
