About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will lead our dedicated team of registered nurses and caregivers, ensuring exceptional clinical care is delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver person-centred clinical care to residents starting from around existing 30 Dementia beds developing into around 60 bed facility at the early of 2026, encompassing rest home, hospital, and dementia-specific care levels.

Lead and manage clinical nursing staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Maintain effective and professional collaboration and communication with residents, families/whanau, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams and providers.

Oversee comprehensive clinical assessments and individualized care planning, ensuring person-centered approaches tailored to each resident’s unique needs. Coordinate and monitor clinical practices, medication management, wound management and healthcare interventions related etc.

ensuring compliance with relevant standards and policies.

Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives, conducting regular audits and implementing best practices to uphold excellent care standards. Manage administrative duties effectively, including accurate documentation, clinical reporting, and data management.

Essential Criteria:

Current Registered Nurse registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from the Nursing Council of New Zealand. Candidates that hold a current InterRAI accessor certificate are strongly preferred.

Proven leadership and managerial experience in aged care, dementia care and/or hospital level care. Strong clinical skills with comprehensive knowledge of aged care best practices. Exceptional professional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training, and developing nursing staff. Competent proficiency in computer literacy.
