About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced registered nurse who a passion for diabetes, to work alongside and learn from experienced senior clinicans in the Diabetes service. You will work with people with Type 1 Diabetes, complex Type 2 Diabetes and Gestational diabetes.
Ideally you will have some experience with patient insulin therapies on multi dose injections and you will have the opportunity to learn more about insuin pump therapy. You will be required to provide diabetes education and to patients and their whanau.This is a fixed term position covering parental leave.
Click here to view the position description. About the ServiceTe Whatu Ora Waikato Regional Diabetes Service provides secondary level care to those within the Waikato Region. This expands as far as Coromandel, Taumarunui, Te Kauwhata and the Raglan coast.
