About the RoleAs a Dental Assistant you will perform routine activities to improve oral health for patients under the care and direction of a registered health professional. Completing other tasks and activities to further support the functioning of the service.
Predominantly working in our Specialist Unit with the opportunity to work within our community clinics also. Click here to view the position description. About the Team/ServiceOur team at Oral Health Waikato see all children whom are registered and eligible for publicly funded Healthcare.
We also have a specialist unit where we see and treat complex and high needs children and adults within a specialised environment. About you NZQA certificate in Dental Assisting.Understanding and willingness to comply with Health New Zealand safety and infection control regulations.Ability to Multitask and prioritise.Good computer skillsCompetency in administration including Numeracy and literacy.
