We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter/Foreman to join our dynamic construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a leadership role, manage quality builds, and be part of a company that values craftsmanship, integrity, and teamwork.
About the Role:As a Carpenter/Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to spec, and to the highest standard. You will lead by example, supervising a team, liaising with subcontractors, and coordinating with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise carpentry and general construction work
Must be able to occasionally get on the tools when required
Be self driven as well as being able to motivate the team on-site
Be able to push yourself and the team to complete all task before the deadline
Maintain site safety and compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are used efficiently
Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and management
About You:
NZ Trade Qualified Carpenter (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a Foreman/Site Supervisor role
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Excellent understanding of building processes and codes
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship
Current Full NZ Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Own tools (if needed)
