Store Manager - Hastings

Fantastic base salary of $78k-$82k + kiwisaver

We're on the lookout for a hands-on Store Manager to lead a team and drive sales in a dynamic, customer relationship-focused retail environment! If you have a strong background in sales and leadership, and a genuine personal connection to the rural sector, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

• Drive new business development while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing customers - their mantra is "sales come through relationships"
• Work closely with a customer base primarily in the farming and horticulture industries
• Lead from the front with your team of 4 - this is not a "sit in the office" role!
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory and stock management
• Ensure health and safety compliance for all workers on site

• Strong knowledge of, and a personal connection to, the rural or horticulture sector
• Established networks and local knowledge of the Hastings region
• A full driver's license - the role includes regular customer visits on the road
• Physically fit, as the role includes handling outdoor products
• Proven sales management experience (industry background flexible, provided you have the rural/horticultural link)
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams to achieve and exceed KPIs and sales targets
