Concrete Structures (NZ) Ltd is a leading nationwide civil construction company. We have ongoing contracts throughout the south island and are on the look out for a Civil Construction Leading Hand/Foreman. If you are looking to expand on your existing experience or simply a career change and are ready to hit the ground running, now is your opportunity!
Our expectation is for someone who has a hands-on practical background who has the desire to grow into a supervisor role. You will be working alongside our Senior Civil Supervisor as 2IC and assist in day to day operations of the project as required.You'll need to be able to think on your feet, solve problems and have great organisational skills. The role is based from Christchurch but will involve travel and may require working away from home during the week, depending on the project location.
You will need to have minimum 5 years hands-on civil infrastructure or construction experience. We are looking for an individual who gets out on site and involved with the day-to-day running of jobs, not someone who wants to sit behind a desk.
You must be energetic, smart, practical and enjoy challenges that this position offers and have the ability to move between projects within your region.

- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
