We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant/ Driver to join our team. You will provide vital support to individuals in their communities, assisting with delivering orders and completing warehouse duties including pick packing, dispatching, stocktaking, and forklift operating.
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant/ Driver to join our team in delivering stock to health services in a Class 1 truck. This is a hands-on role that combines driving with general warehousing duties. Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMPayrate: $25.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:- Delivery Driving: Safely and efficiently deliver stock to health services using a Class 1 truck.
- Warehousing Duties: Assist with general warehouse tasks including picking, packing, dispatching, and stocktaking.
- Forklift Operation: Operate the forklift to move and store goods as required.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse tidy, organized, and safe, ensuring a manageable working environment.
- Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols while out on deliveries and when in the warehouse. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Valid Class 1 driving license.
- Previous experience in delivery driving and warehouse operations is preferred.
- Forklift certification (OSH).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to health and safety.
- Good physical fitness as some heavy lifting is involved.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal check.
