Ecosanctuary near Aoraki/Mount Cook

Come work on a 10-acre ecosanctuary in the beautiful Mackenzie Region! Mountains in the backyard and lakes nearby. We are a friendly, easy-going family with three lovely children. The work involves helping to look after the kids, gardening, stacking firewood, planting shrubs and trees, and general country chores.

We provide accommodation, breakfast supplies and healthy delicious dinner with the family in exchange for five hours of unpaid work per day.

Backpackers LOVE our place! Enjoy our amazing garage backpacker retro lounge with video games, amazing DJ sound system & lights, musical instruments, board games, tons of movies, lounge chairs, and more!

We are in a very beautiful location with mountains in the backyard and only 3km from Lake Ohau and a 45-minute drive to either Aoraki/Mount Cook or Lake Tekapo.
