Fixed Term Parental Leave Cover

Columbus Café is a vibrant and busy café situated in the Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill store.

Do you want to work in a supportive friendly environment with a team that makes a variety of cabinet food, and a menu that changes seasonally? would you like to follow tried and true recipes as well as the chance to craft and create new and exciting baked goods?

We can offer a fixed term (parental leave cover) role for someone who enjoys baking and gets a rush out of cooking during a busy lunch service. The fixed term period would start end of July and go for approximately 8 months.

This role is a daytime position, with set hours, regular breaks, a competitive pay rate plus a staff discount at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill.

This position will include working Saturday & Sunday plus one weekday shift, and the opportunity for extra shifts to cover leave as they become available.

Applicants with a Certificate in Hospitality (Cooking) or equivalent experience are preferred, however full training will be provided.
