Hourly rate $29-$33 experience depentant
We’re on the lookout for a confident, motivated, and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team at our new grab-and-go cakery and coffee shop in Westgate.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and has a genuine love for great coffee, food, and service. You’ll be working closely with the owner and head chef to create a warm, welcoming space that runs like clockwork and grows.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front-of-house, with a hands-on role that includes but not limited to:
Barista duties and customer service - must have at least 12 months current barista experience.Stock takes and ordering front-of-house supplies
POS system management and daily cash-up
Leading, mentoring, and motivating FOH staff
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
Ensuring Health & Safety compliance
Perform opening and closing duties, and all other daily routines in accordance with company policy and procedures, stock checklists, and trading hours
Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Keen eye for detail must be able to work under pressure
Assisting with daily reporting and identifying trends and opportunities
Supporting social media efforts (bonus if you enjoy creating content!)
We’re looking for someone who has: Minimum 12 months experience in a similar hospitality management role
At least 12 months barista experienceExcellent leadership and communication skills
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
A polished, outgoing, and professional manner
A proactive, can-do attitude
Excellent written and spoken english
A passion for coffee, food, and delivering memorable customer experiences
