Draughting/Detailing Team Member
Auckland
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Draughting/detailing team member to join one of our clients in Auckland. This is a temporary position but can be a permanent full-time for the right person.
This position is ideal for someone with a qualification like a Diploma in Architectural Draughting or a related degree, along with strong drafting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage own work schedules as required in accordance with organizational policy and procedure.
- Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant draughting procedures
- Communicate with customers and suppliers, as necessary, to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations and activities.
- Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant draughting activities and support, in relation to the organization's overall operating functions.
- Use personal judgement and initiative to develop constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in detailing activity and procedures and communicate these to the Head Detailer.
- Manage draughting and detailing activities, you are responsible for, influenced by or reliant upon factory activities.
- Maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant ICT (Information & Communications Technology) and other systems within the draughting and detailing function.
- Prepare and submit relevant administration documentation in a timely and accurate manner, for example: draughting, detailing and safety documentation.
- Investigate, plan and implement strategically effective and relevant draughting and detailing methods, set by the Head Detailer, which optimally meets the needs of the organization and its suppliers and customers.
