Pest Control Field Operator | Feracon Pest

We are seeking fit and adventurous people to join our growing Upper North Island team to become pest control specialists. You will be based in the field, trekking through the bush, so a love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic is a must.

Requirements:

• Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand.
• Full NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record, and the ability to drive off-road vehicles.
• Clear criminal record.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying heavy loads across steep mountainous terrain, this role is not for the faint-hearted.
• Willingness to drive long distances and stay away from home if required.
• Able to adhere to and have a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently in the field and manage time efficiently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
• Positive work attitude and a great work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

• Experience/qualifications in pest control or biosecurity work.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Qualifications in ATV, LUV and 4WD use.
• GrowSafe Certification.
• Controlled Substance Licence.
• NZ Firearms Licence.

Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria.
