  • Te Whatu Ora are seeking a dedicated Paediatrician to join our dynamic team at Dunedin Hospital.
You will provide expert care to children and adolescents across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
This is a permanent position with opportunities for subspecialty development.
The role is a full-time position, however the department is open to negotiating part-time positions.Key responsibilities include the following:Deliver comprehensive paediatric care to improve the health of children and adolescents in inpatient and outpatient settings, including rural and community outreachParticipate in the 1:7 shared on-call rosterSupervise and mentor junior medical staff and studentsCollaborate with allied health professionals and community servicesContribute to service development and quality improvement initiativesWhat you need to work hereTo practise as a Paediatrician in New Zealand, you must be registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).International applicants will need a postgraduate qualification comparable to Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP in Paediatrics) or another recognised paediatric qualification.Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand
