Looking to get into the trades? We have an awesome opportunity for someone keen to start a plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying apprenticeship in 2025 with a well-respected host company based in Queenstown.
Our host company offers a supportive team culture and is involved in a variety of work from residential builds and domestic maintenance to light commercial projects.
About the role: As an apprentice, you’ll get stuck in and learn on the tools from day one.The job includes:
- Residential maintenance and installs
- Light commercial work
- Installing and fixing pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems
- You’ll be earning while you’re learning, working towards your plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying qualifications over the next 4–5 years.
We’re after someone with a bit of life experience and a solid work ethic. Maybe you’ve worked in another trade or hands on job before or just enjoy practical work and figuring things out. Most of all, we want someone who’s reliable, ready to learn, and committed for the long haul.
You’ll need:- Some kind of practical or hands on experience (desirable)
- At least a restricted driver’s licence
- Be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment medical
- NZ citizenship or residency
We’re here to support you through your whole apprenticeship. We’ll match you with a great host business, and you’ll get real work experience, training, and support while you earn your Level 4 National Certificates in Plumbing, Gasfitting, and Drainlaying.
