We're looking for a....Motorhome/Caravan Technician.
Lifestyle Motorhomes has a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for the great outdoors and that is up for a new challenge. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Workshop Technician, carrying out a range of upgrades and repairs on a variety of new & second-hand motor homes & caravans.

Whilst experience in the industry is preferred it is not essential, as ongoing training and development will be provided. So come join us in an amazing industry and meet some great people along the way.

We are a family-owned business and we strive to do all we can to support our customers to ensure they have the best possible experience with upgrading or repairing their motor home/caravan.
As a Lifestyle Motorhomes Technician, you will be responsible for a wide range of, repairs & maintenance, annual inspections, warranty work, installations & upgrades on Motorhomes/Caravans and much more. With a strong background in the Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Panel Beating, Joinery or Engineering trades combined with an eye for detail and high standard of workmanship you will seamlessly fit into the RV industry.

There will be opportunities to learn other trades to broaden your skill set and allow you to thrive in this amazing lifestyle industry.

This is a full-time role from Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm & Friday 8am to 4pm. The wage package for this position will be based on the skill set the individual brings to the role. Those who show that they are fast learners, have an interest in the industry and can contribute to the performance of their team in a positive way can do well.

Skills & Experience:
  • Mechanical, Auto Electrical, Panel Beating, Joinery or Engineering.
  • Excellent problem solving and diagnostic capabilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice
  • Fast learner, excellent time management and a high standard of workmanship
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of NZ Health and Safety regulations
  • Current Class 1 Driver’s license
  • Flexible team player, able to work collaboratively with a wider team
Other Skills, interests and knowledge that would be an advantage:
  • 230V electrical
  • Gas regulations
  • Interest in technology
  • Plumbing
  • First Aid Certification
  • Passion for the outdoors, camping and the RV industry
  • Sales
