Are you passionate about creating delicious baked goods and working as part of a great team?
New World Lincoln is looking for a skilled and motivated Qualified Baker to join our busy Bakery Department. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality breads, pastries, and cakes that look as good as they taste, while keeping our shelves stocked and displays inviting for customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with baking experience who wants to work in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities- Bake a variety of products including specialty breads, pastries, muffins, and cakes
- Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure shelves and display cabinets are well-stocked and appealing
- Comply with all Health & Safety and Food Safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service when working on the shop floor
- Experience in scratch baking (breads, pastries, and/or cakes) is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work at pace
- Great communication skills and a positive team attitude
- Reliable transport for early morning starts (4:00 AM)
- This is a permanent role, with early morning starts Friday – Monday with a total of 32 hours.
- More hours could be available in the future if desired.
