Heavy Equipment Mechanic -(Relocate to Nelson)

We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team in sunny Brightwater, just outside Nelson. If you’re not already local, we’ll contribute towards relocation so you can enjoy one of the best regions in the country for beaches, biking, hiking and more.
Hourly rate is negotiable and will reflect your skills and experience.
What You’ll Bring- Trade qualification as a diesel technician, with strong skills in hydraulics, modern diesel engines, and electronic systems
- A Class 1 driver’s licence
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety
- Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability, with confidence to recommend effective solutions
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Clear, professional communication skills
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Flexibility to work away from home on occasion
- Company Vehicle for work purposes
- Ongoing training, support, and skill development
- A friendly and supportive team environment
- You will get to see the gorgeous top of the south field servicing from Golden Bay to Blenheim as well as working in the Brightwater workshop
