[ref. e6973021] Business Data Analyst and Credit Controller

As an integral part of our business, you will be responsible for helping our company to evaluate business and credit processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement practical solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity and mitigating credit risk.

• Gather and interpret datasets to help identify business and operational bottlenecks and develop practical solutions.
• Research relevant topics to aid in business development.
• Assist management in creating strategies to improve work processes around inwards goods ordering and receipt, storage and deliveries.
• Processing and assessing customer credit applications including setting and maintaining appropriate credit limits.
• Manage overdue and delinquent accounts and debt collection processes.
• Forecast cashflow and mitigate risks associated with credit exposure.
• Track metrics and write reports on data analytics.
• Assist with office and warehouse support if needed.

• Tertiary qualification in one or more business disciplines, e.g. finance, accounting, economics, operations research, or mathematics.
• Must have at least 3+ years of relevant industry experience in warehouse, supply chain, or financial services (in assessing, managing and/or administering credit risk).
• Proficiency in the use of commercial software to extract, analyse data and perform modelling as required.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, innovative creative skills, possess critical thinking and ability to multi-task.
• Good report writing and presentation skills.
• Must have a valid or eligible to apply for a work visa in NZ.

Wages will be $27 - $32 per hour, depending on qualification and work experience. Wages will be paid fortnightly.

Days required- Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (minimum of 30 hours a week).
