Lead Hand Concrete Placer – $30–$35/hr
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Lead Hand Concrete Placer to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone confident in all aspects of residential concrete work and capable of leading a small crew.
About the Role
Day-to-day work includes a full range of residential concrete and site-preparation tasks, such as:
Décor operation (exposed, coloured, decorative finishes)
Driving work vehicles
Boxing up and set-out
Digging out and site prep
Tying steel and reinforcing prep
Placing, screeding, and finishing concrete
Asphalt prep
Washing, sealing, and water blasting of completed concrete
Minor building work (fences, decks, small landscaping jobs)
Occasional foundation and footing pours
General construction support when needed
While there’s variety, the role is primarily concrete placing — forming, prepping, and finishing driveways, paths, patios, and residential slabs.
What We’re Looking For
Full NZ driver’s licence
Strong experience in residential concrete placing and finishing
Ability to lead or help lead a small team
Good understanding of plan reading and site levels
Reliable, motivated, and able to work unsupervised
Physically fit and capable of hands-on work
