Your key role | To turanga matuaWe are looking for 10 Complex Care Community Support Workers.
This role is not your standard support work. It involves highly specialised care for clients living with complex health conditions in the community — particularly spinal cord injuries.
These are higher-level supports that require clinical awareness, good judgment, and a calm approach. You’ll receive the training you need, but you’ll also need to bring empathy and patience to the work.
Rotating shifts: Morning, Afternoon, Sleepover, and Wakeover30 Hours per week, Full Time Role.

- Spinal Cord Injury Support
- Mobility & Manual Handling
- Medication Administration
- Behaviour of Concern Management
Behvaiour of Concern can be triggered by pain, frustration, discomfort, or changes in routine. You won’t be expected to do this alone — we will make sure you are trained, supported, and never left without a clear care plan.

- Enjoy a favorable staff-to-person ratio, facilitating more personalised support.
- Minimum Level 3 in Health and Wellbeing qualification or its equivalent from another country
- Have a NZ Full driver’s license or overseas equivalent
- Candidates must be able to pass a Police Check or undergo vetting. To fast-track your application, simply request a copy of your recent Police Vetting Result from your current or past employer. This will help speed up your hiring process!
Experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries and/or managing complex care and behaviours of concern is highly regarded.
