Scobies Transport in Wyndham, Southland, is seeking a Truck Driver - Specializing in Over Dimension Loads

We are looking for a friendly, positive and self-motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and sense of humor, be a problem solver and keen to get stuck in with no mucking around.

• Heavy Haulage Transportation
• Heavy Haulage Piloting
• Oversized Loads
• Bulk Cartage
• Machine Maintenance

The ability and flexibility/willingness to jump into other areas of our business during certain times of the year is required.

• Peat Bog Maintenace
• Farm Maintenace
• Peat Harvesting
• Farm Tractor Work

• Experience in Oversized Loads
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in our other fields
• Physically fit, Heavy Lifting is involved
• Full Driver’s License (Class 5)
• BESS
• Pilot License
• Ability to work on your own, eye for detail and follow instructions
• Be punctual, flexible, professional and be able to keep your paperwork in order.
• To understand our customer requirements and that work has seasonal fluctuations with some weekend work necessary.

Experience in Carpentry, Engineering and Heavy Haulage Vehicle Maintenace would be an advantage.
