We are looking for an experienced Dispatch and Logistics Support Manager to join our Logistics team to manage the distribution activities of the company - ensuring products are shipped and distributed efficiently.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organising the dispatch of customer orders.
  • Packaging of frozen products.
  • Accurately recording orders and preparing appropriate dispatch documentation.
  • Loading of product - ensuring that a high level of health and safety is always maintained.
  • Communicating with our Sales, Production and Logistics teams to ensure that customer orders meet our Delivery In Full, On-Time (DIFOT) objectives.
  • Suggesting areas of continuous improvement.
  • General warehouse and freight sorting duties.
  • Ensure frozen goods are packed, stock rotated and follow first-in first-out (FIFO) rule.
  • Process inward and outward goods.
  • Identify transit damages and rectify customer service problems, ie breakages, loss, transit delays and replacements.
  • General repairs and maintenance of small plant and equipment including freezers and refrigerators.
  • Monitor freezer software.
  • Water blasting and cleaning as required.

Working Monday to Friday starting around 5.00am.
