We are looking for an experienced Dispatch and Logistics Support Manager to join our Logistics team to manage the distribution activities of the company - ensuring products are shipped and distributed efficiently.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Organising the dispatch of customer orders.
- Packaging of frozen products.
- Accurately recording orders and preparing appropriate dispatch documentation.
- Loading of product - ensuring that a high level of health and safety is always maintained.
- Communicating with our Sales, Production and Logistics teams to ensure that customer orders meet our Delivery In Full, On-Time (DIFOT) objectives.
- Suggesting areas of continuous improvement.
- General warehouse and freight sorting duties.
- Ensure frozen goods are packed, stock rotated and follow first-in first-out (FIFO) rule.
- Process inward and outward goods.
- Identify transit damages and rectify customer service problems, ie breakages, loss, transit delays and replacements.
- General repairs and maintenance of small plant and equipment including freezers and refrigerators.
- Monitor freezer software.
- Water blasting and cleaning as required.
Working Monday to Friday starting around 5.00am.
