This exciting new role has been created as part of the Manukau Health Park expansion, reflecting our commitment to enhancing urology healthcare services in South Auckland. We are now inviting applications from qualified Consultants to join our team.

About the Role

Permanent, full-time position for a Urology Surgeon.
Subspecialty expertise required in open and robotic urological oncology.
Flexibility to work across other areas of the discipline.

Flexible timetable with rostered duties subject to service needs.

Counties Manukau District provides outpatient consultations, procedural clinics, day surgery, and inpatient surgery at both local and satellite facilities. You may also be required to work across the Auckland region and, as part of the regional service, contribute to inpatient surgery and the regional acute roster at Auckland City Hospital.

What Were Looking For

Essential requirements:

FRACS in Urology, with subspecialty expertise in open and robotic urological oncology.
Eligibility for (or current) registration within a Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check eligibility here: MCNZ Registration Self-Assessment Tool

Current Annual Practising Certificate with the MCNZ.
