About the Role

We are looking for an experienced receptionist to join our team at the Kenepuru Accident Medical Clinic on a casual basis. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting patients, maintaining accurate data records, invoicing patients, answering and directing incoming calls, managing administration tasks as required and ordering radiology referrals.

The role is casual and you would need to be able to work a combination of 7- and 8-hour shifts including weekends and night shifts within the roster.

Casual hourly rate: $32.66'$37.07, depending on experience.

About the Team/Service Location

The Accident and Medical Clinic is a busy 24-hour Urgent Care Clinic situated at Kenepuru Hospital. We provide care to those who require urgent medical treatment and are unable to see their own GP. The team consists of Urgent Care Physicians and trainees, local GPs, receptionists, Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses.

The department sees approximately 37,000 presentations per year from a wide range of ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

The Reception Team is a busy and friendly team who provide a great front of house service to patients as well as providing clerical and administrative support to the Clinic.
