We as a business need to meet our health and safety obligations at all levels, including engaging staff and managing risks.
Job Responsibilities- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Driving within the speed limit of 90km/h and wearing a seat belt while driving.
ü Complete a daily truck logbook and submit reports of mileage and retain fuel/toll receipts.
ü Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
ü Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations and Break Periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
ü Maneuverer trucks into loading and unloading positions.
ü Maintain a current clean Driver's License while driving a company vehicle.
ü The individual will be expected to have a standard of fitness sufficient to enable him to carry out all the above duties.
ü Report serious mechanical problems to the manager.
ü Taking full responsibility of unit while on duty
ü Responsible for cleaning the Truck.
Key requirements
ü To be successful you must have at least 1 year of experience in a driving role
ü Valid and clean Driver License Class 5
ü Must be physically fit.
ü A sound understanding of Health and Safety along with the logbook requirements.
ü You should carry out routine checks of your truck.
ü You may require driving on weekends and public holidays.
ü Able to work as per roster.
ü A positive attitude and a great work ethic
ü Clean Character Background
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $30 per hour to $32 per hour.
