Opening in late 2025, Coronet Ridge Resort invites guests to experience an unparalleled luxury escape in the heart of New Zealand’s adventure capital.

This position has a wage offering between $34 - $37 Per hour.

• Oversee and manage all aspects of maintenance operations for the resort, ensuring the highest standards of functionality, appearance, and safety.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively address potential issues and maintain the property’s facilities in excellent condition.
• Conduct regular inspections of the resort’s buildings, infrastructure, and gardens to identify maintenance needs and implement timely and cost-effective solutions.
• Manage and prioritize maintenance requests and work orders, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to guest experience and operations.
• Collaborate with other departments such as housekeeping and front office to ensure seamless coordination of maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventories, and service contracts.
• Drive stock to and from designated areas as required.
• Assist with portering responsibilities and provide general operational support.
• Participate in landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks to maintain the resort’s pristine appearance.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and manage the department budget effectively, optimizing resources while maintaining quality and safety.
• Stay current with industry best practices, sustainability initiatives, and technological advancements relevant to resort maintenance and facility management.

• 1 year experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably within a high-end resort, lodge, or luxury hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, property maintenance, and facilities equipment.
• A proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide maintenance staff.
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a remote location.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Must hold a valid New Zealand driver’s license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members, suppliers, and guests.
