Assistant Shop Manager

• We are a busy artisan bakery in the Hokowhitu Village in Palmerston North. From our bakery food to our customer service, we are passionate about providing our customers with excellence and always giving them a positive experience. We are looking for an employee who will share in our passion and the ongoing growth of Knead.
• We are a team of individuals that enjoy turning up and working hard together to achieve goals and meet the requirements of a fast-paced busy bakery.
• We are open Tuesday to Saturday; meaning consistent days off (which isn’t always the case in hospitality/FOH roles).
• We have an annual close down over Christmas/New Years as we value time with friends and family and a work-life balance both for ourselves and for our team members.

The position will include making consistent great coffees, serving customers, making sandwiches, keeping the shop clean and tidy, cleaning dishes, deep cleaning equipment and assisting the bakery with any jobs needed. You will need to be able to manage your time well, follow instructions and processes, while always setting yourself goals.
