Industrial Maintenance Engineer - FMCG
**40 - 45 Hours week**
**Monday - Friday PM (1.30pm - 11pm)**
**Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday (5.30am - 5pm)**
My client is after tradesmen who can help keep their operations running smoothly with minimal downtime. You’ll be involved in preventative maintenance, attending breakdowns, and working on some R&M tasks, with the odd improvement project thrown in.
**What’s the deal?**
You’ll be ensuring everything stays in top shape, which is key to preventing compliance and health and safety issues. Whether you’re working solo or with the team, we need someone who knows their way around pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical engineering.
**Skills we’re looking for:**- Trade qualified - NZ Level 4 minimum.
- Can work solo or as part of a team.
- Health and Safety savvy.
- Reliable with great timekeeping.
- Own transport and tools.
- Good communication skills, organised, and a self-starter.
- Stainless TIG welding experience (bonus).
- Eye for detail and pride in your work
- Breakdown experience.
- Mechanical Trade Qualification – Level 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter & Turner, or similar.
- Proven track record in maintenance with a focus on safety.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and communication abilities.
