Our client is a well-respected NZ business, who have been enhancing the quality of people’s lives for over 40years. They have developed trusted partnerships across multiple markets, including Public and Private Hospitals, Aged Care and Community Care.
A newly created role is now available for a self-motivated, dedicated individual who has the ability to work autonomously and prides themselves on providing high quality customer service and workmanship at all times. This is a Branch role, which will involve warehouse and logistics functions, delivery and installations of equipment, as well as regular travel to customer sites, including Aged Care facilities and Hospitals, to deliver technical support and conduct service and repairs of medical equipment.
To be successful, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Service Technician, ideally within the healthcare environment. In addition, you will need to know the functionality of electrical devices, have Test & Tag qualifications and strong diagnostic and trouble shooting ability.

Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, maintenance, inspection and testing of clinical and aged care equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant AS/NZS standards
- Conduct in-field visits to install, adjust and/or troubleshoot medical and healthcare equipment
- Assist in the individualizing of equipment to suit individual client needs (e.g., modifying seating, adjusting control systems, or making ergonomic tweaks)
- Plan and manage daily and weekly work schedules and prioritize field service tasks efficiently.
- Manage tools, spare parts and equipment stock required for field service.
- Process inwards and outwards goods and general warehouse duties
- Enter job details into job costing system, ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a technical support role.
- Knowledge of medical devices and/or assistive technologies will be a distinct advantage
- Test and Tag Qualifications, EWRB Registered or EAS Qualification
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Pro-active attitude with high level problem solving skills
- Empathetic manner & excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
- Confident computer skills, including MS Office & CRM Systems
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety
- Ability to pass a Police and Drug & Alcohol Check
- Current NZ Drivers Licence
- Ability to undertake regular travel, with occasional overnight stays
