Tradesman Plumber Wanted
Flow State Plumbing is a small, busy, locally owned business servicing the Wellington Region and the Kapiti Coast. We’re known for quality craftsmanship, a friendly approach, and transparent pricing — the kind of work we’re proud to put our name on.
Right now it’s a one-man operation led by Nick, and we’re looking for one great qualified plumber to join the team. At this stage, we are not looking for an apprentice plumber as we are very busy with some big jobs and unfortunately don’t have the capacity right now to train someone while staying on top of the workload.
You’ll work directly alongside Nick day-to-day, with Rosa (Nick’s wife) supporting the business behind the scenes, helping keep the admin side of things running smoothly so the focus stays on delivering great work on-site.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys varied work, autonomy on the tools, and being part of a small team where quality matters.
Our jobs vary and include:- Residential maintenance and repairs
- New Builds and renovations
- Drain laying work
- Gas fitting work
- Registered or licensed plumber (or close to obtaining registration)
- Confident working independently and alongside others
- Strong problem-solving skills on-site
- Great with customers and respectful in people’s homes
- Pride in tidy, high-quality workmanship
- Reliable, organised, and good communication
- *Digger operator a bonus but not essential
