Joinery Factory Foreman

Montage Group is looking for a Joinery Factory Foreman to oversee daily operations in our joinery workshop. This role involves supervising staff, managing equipment and maintenance, ensuring smooth workflow, and enforcing safety regulations.

• Ensure staff work to the production schedule, supervise staff to ensure production deadlines are met
• Oversee quality of jobs meets expectations
• Oversee checking and loading of jobs for delivery
• Communicating with production manager and project leaders to assist with remedial tasks
• Supervise and train workshop staff.
• Identify and address issues that may impact operations.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed.
• Work with management to improve processes and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange restocking as needed.
• Be the first point of contact for factory staff with questions about jobs.
• Co-ordinate with production manager to rearrange tasks/staff when required to keep production on track.
• Work as a joiner in the factory, assembling kitchens/cabinetry alongside other joiners
• Occasionally helping with deliveries when required

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experienced Joiner / Cabinet Maker
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and operational best practices.
• The ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work extra hours if required.
• A valid driver’s license.
