Inventory Coordinator/Administ

About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Processing Inventory Controller/Administrator. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement and accuracy of inventory, while ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance are maintained.This is a hands-on role that requires strong coordination, clear communication and an eye for detail.
Duties- Coordinate daily stock management (receipt, storage and dispatch of inventory)
- Use FIFO principals to prepare and manage daily pick lists, transfers and sales orders
- Manage incoming/outgoing deliveries and schedule them within operational windows
- Running daily reports, preparing stock for dispatch and checking paperwork is accurate
- Recording batch numbers, and completing inwards stock reports and aged pallet counts
- Monday - Friday
- 8.30am to 5pm
- $30.24 per hour
- 1- year fixed term (maternity cover)
- Computer savvy with strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable, service-driven and comfortable working to deadlines
- Experience working cross-functionally with different departments or sites
- Strong communicator with the ability to raise issues early, share updates and foster team feedback
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work with minimal supervision
- Provide two contactable work references (if related to this role then more favourable)
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
- Return a clean criminal background check
- Have reliable transport
- Have a good understanding of warehouse flow and logistics
