The Branch Mechanic/Customer Service Rep
Will be mindful of customer flow and proactively engage with customers as they come in and out of the workshop to load/unload equipment, complete hire agreement forms, take payments, answer questions & explain how to use equipment, upon return check equipment/sign in, make repairs if needed.There's often a lot going on in the branch so at times may be needed to help out the team with whatever gets the job done.
- Engaging with customers and helping to load/unload equipment
- Demonstrating how to safely operate equipment to customers
- Discussing the ‘right tool for the job’ with customers
- Collecting payment from customers
- Cleaning/checking equipment to get it ready and safe for the next hire
- Carrying out preventative maintenance/servicing on general hire fleet
- Repairing equipment
- Ordering/sourcing parts
