About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga
As a Support Worker in our Supported Living services you will be making a difference every day. You will support individuals to develop practical life skills including, household tasks, meeting education/vocational needs, cultural awareness, community activities and participation, building positive relationships with whanau and peers, and everyday problem solving and coping strategies.
A natural ability to relate to other and build rapport with people we support and other team members is essential along with a strong desire to make a positive difference.
What you will bring | Nga tohunga mo tenei turanga- A proactive and person-centred approach to support.
- Willingness to complete Health and Wellbeing training and qualifications.
- Have a positive, can do attitude and a great work ethic.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand and have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry.
- Hold a FULL, clean New Zealand Driver License (Essential).
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost).
- Weekend availability.
