Situated in Hawkes Bay, under an hour west of Napier. Mangatutu Staton is a 1900ha sheep and beef farm comprising of productive flats to steep hill country, with the main focus being on livestock performance, pasture/crop production, and team culture.
We are looking for a shepherd who has the following:- A good attitude, with a drive to learn and develop key skill sets.
- At least 2 well broken in dogs.
- A strong work ethic and take pride in upholding a high standard.
- A positive outlook on modern farming practices and Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Experience in a similar job is advantageous but not necessary.
- Decent mustering.
- Mentoring and Development in key areas.
- Exposure to modern farming practices, including Halter on beef animals.
- Hunting & Fishing at the back door.
A competitive remuneration package that is based on experience.
Accommodation is either a three-bedroom house or quarters, depending on experience.
