Our client focuses on providing best-in-class products in the Gynaecology, Colorectal, Electrosurgical, Surgical Suction, Endoscopy, and Instrumentation categories. Their recently constructed, purpose-built distribution centre in Ashburton enables them to offer these critical medical devices to customers throughout the country as needed.

It is the hub of our excellence in the global supply chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role reports to the General Manager. As a Medical Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of sales representatives while also spearheading business development efforts to expand our market reach and achieve revenue targets.
The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry. The role is based in Ashburton, so you would need to relocate if you were outside the Ashburton area however we would also consider candidates that live in Christchurch and or Timaru but you would need to be in Ashburton at least two days per week.

The role is Monday to Friday 7.30am till 5pm.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you would have worked in the medical industry and have a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, however we will also consider other strong Sales Leaders with a proven track record, as well as having the below attributes:

  • Solid expereince in medical sales management with revenue of $20m+ and a proven track record of success in exceeding sales targets and leading team
  • Business Development experience with strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strtegic sales plans
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Calm under pressure with attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Thinks outside the box and will use your initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel as needed
