This is an opportunity to join a highly engaged pharmacy team with a strong emphasis on clinical service provision and quality, whilst also collaborating with a wide range of teams within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.You will also participate in the on
  • call roster once established in the role.
The on-call duties extend from Monday to Friday 5pm to 8am the following morning, or Friday evening to Monday morning.As a Pharmacist, you are responsible for:Dispensing and supplying medications in accordance with hospital protocols and national standardsProviding clinical pharmacy services, including medicines reconciliation and optimization of treatmentsOffering professional advice to healthcare teams, patients, and caregivers to promote safe medication useEnsuring compliance with regulatory and hospital guidelines for medication managementSupporting stock management, including procurement and safe storage of medicinesFor information on the salary band and the position description, please click here.About the ServiceHealth New Zealand

  • Taranaki is also fortunate to have its dedicated eMedication management team who work closely alongside our Pharmacy department to lead medication management in the various data and digital platforms across the hospital.Taranaki boasts some New Zealand's most iconic natural landscapes, like Mt Taranaki, and many adventure activities.
